2025 UK Border Strategy Consultation
Rail Freight Group (RFG) is pleased to respond to the UK Government consultation on the 2025 UK Border Strategy.
Rail freight is an important part supply chains for imported and exported goods to and from the UK. At least half of all rail freight is to or from a port, and direct trains through the Channel Tunnel link the UK to mainland Europe. This means that the regulations and processes at the border are fundamentally important to our sector, both directly and indirectly.
