Ely Area Capacity Enhancements response

Rail Freight Group (RFG) was pleased to respond to the round 2 consultation on the Ely area capacity enhancements programme. RFG fully supports the Ely Area Capacity Enhancements programme, which is recognised by industry and public sector stakeholders as being long overdue following previous proposals having been paused under the Hendy review.

RFG recognises that the round 2 consultation only covers the Ely South area and that the full scope of the Ely Area proposals will only be fully appreciated once we see proposals contained in later rounds of consultation.
