Event recording – Rail loading and track access charging Webinar

On 18th April 2023, RFG was delighted to hold a webinar on rail loading and track access charging. The event provided a description of how a load is transferred to the rail, and from this the development of vehicle-specific charging regimes. It also provided an overview of how a bogie transfers loading to the rail.

Alan Aitken from Wabtec discussed key issues such as primary and secondary suspension, steerable bogies, effect on wheel life and more.
