Great British Railways’ Access and Use Policy Discussion Paper
Rail Freight Group was pleased to respond to Network Rail’s discussion document on Great British Railways’ Access and Use policy.
We recognise the significant changes to the access framework which are being made under the Railways Bill 2025, and the work which is presently ongoing to design the new regime. We appreciate the consultative and open approach and the opportunities that we have had to engage and help shape the thinking. Along with our members we remain committed to supporting that work, and in helping to design the best possible framework in support of rail freight growth. In that context we also recognise that the position paper reflects the developed thinking at a moment in time, with work still ongoing.
