An awards dinner / webinar that celebrates

the outstanding achievements from right across the UK’s rail freight sector.

The Rail Freight Group is delighted to announce an exciting new addition to its annual events calendar – the industry’s first-ever online awards dinner.

With the ongoing restrictions placed on events due to Covid-19, RFG was faced with cancelling our popular Awards Dinner evening and disappointing our members. Never to easily admit defeat, the team has joined forces with Burges Salmon and GBRf to co-host what promises to be an exciting night of entertainment and recognition of this dynamic and deserving sector.

We have always prided ourselves on the informal nature of the RFG Awards – and this time we have taken it a step further by inviting you to attend the ceremony from the comfort of your own sofa. Entry is free and you can individually select your own favourite (microwave) dinner! Black tie optional. Alongside our usual award categories, we will have entertainment and some surprise guests on the night.

We have been very impressed by the standard of entries this year, making the judging a very difficult process. As usual, you will find out the winners and runners-up from our regular hosting duo: Simon Coppen (Burgess Salmon) and John Smith (GB Railfreight). We are very grateful to both companies for their longstanding support for these awards.
