Policy

RFG is at the forefront of campaigning for growth and greater efficiency in rail freight. Our aim is to influence policy makers within Government (local, regional and national), statutory bodies and the wider rail and logistics industry so that both the benefits and needs of the rail freight sector are taken into consideration when decisions are made.

We maintain frequent dialogue with key parties such as parliamentarians, government departments, business leaders, regulators and officials. We respond to the numerous calls for evidence and consultations, and campaign through our media activities in support of our policy aims. Our work is highly respected for its integrity and its success in achieving progress.
