The March 2020 issue leads with the welcome for the confirmation of HS2 go-ahead but RFG warns that the debate around capacity must not get overlooked by concerns around speed. RFG will be continuing its work to help safeguard released capacity for freight use.    

Inside this issue, we welcome Joe O’Donnell to the RFG team as our new Head of Policy and include a meeting report from our well-attended Scottish Conference where Transport minister Michael Matheson renewed his commitment to rail freight.
