This month’s edition leads with GB Railfreight’s successful Class 99 trial ahead of the fleet entering full commercial service, alongside coverage of recent RFG events, GoExpress’ high-speed freight trials on the West Coast Main Line, and the opening of the UK’s first electrified rail test loop.

A special thank you to everyone who visited the Rail Freight Pavilion at Multimodal. Once again, it was a busy and successful three-day event, providing an excellent opportunity to showcase the vital role rail freight plays in modern intermodal supply chains. In an increasingly digital world, there is still no substitute for face-to-face conversations when it comes to strengthening relationships, sharing ideas and championing the benefits of rail freight. Our thanks also go to the event organisers for delivering another outstanding exhibition.
