The July 2019 issue welcomes a host of new rail freight service announcements, showing just how retailers’ attitudes to rail are changing.  Among the fantastic new service announcements is our leading article, the new PD Ports’ Teesport service launched on behalf of Containerships and IKEA. It is great news to see such large, well-known high street retailers backing rail for their intermodal goods and adding weight to the business case for getting lorries off the motorway and more goods onto the rail network.
