It leads with the news that DB Cargo is working with Groupe CAT to launch a new international automotive service on behalf of Toyota.

We also announce the opening of our RFG Awards. These celebrate the hard work and successes of rail freight companies operating up and down the country and we encourage all of our members to consider entering. This year we have introduced new award categories around driving rail freight growth and sustainability, offering even more opportunities to recognise your achievements and those of your teams.

Alongside our usual contributors, including the Westminster Update by Jonathan Roberts from JR Consulting, we are delighted to welcome new columnists Martin Fleetwood and Anna Sweeney from Addleshaw Goddard as well as Rufus Boyd from Great British Railways Transition Team (GBRTT). There is so much happening across the rail freight sector right now, we are extremely grateful for them taking the time to share their expert views on the current challenges.
