The 153rd issue of RFG News is now available to download.
It leads with the news that Stadler, Beacon Rail and GB Railfreight are collaborating to bring the new bi-mode Class 99 to the UK in 2025. It’s an exciting development in the ongoing efforts across the sector to decarbonise rail freight and make it an even more environmentally friendly way of moving goods.
Inside there is a reminder to enter our Awards, which closes for entries on 31 May. Don’t miss the chance to promote and celebrate the achievements of your teams. Our Awards dinner also provides a great face to face networking opportunity. In this issue, we also have meeting reports on our Scottish Conference and recent webinars.
Alongside our usual contributors, including the Westminster Update by Jonathan Roberts from JR Consulting, we have columnist Martin Fleetwood from Addleshaw Goddard as well as Conor Murrells from the Great British Railways Transition Team (GBRTT).
