It leads with the news that the Highland Spring rail freight terminal is now open. It’s a fantastic development that has been years in the making and a huge congratulations to everyone who helped deliver the project.

In this issue, we are also celebrating after a great night at our RFG Awards dinner. Congratulations to all of our winners and runners-up and to everyone who joined us to celebrate the many successes from across the rail freight sector. The RFG still has a busy calendar of events so please take a look at what we have coming up and join us where you can.

Alongside our usual contributors, including the Westminster Update by Jonathan Roberts from JR Consulting, we have columnist Martin Fleetwood from Addleshaw Goddard as well as Andrew Bradford from the Great British Railways Transition Team (GBRTT).
