RFG News – September 2023 – Issue 161

The September 2023 issue of RFG News, the Rail Freight Group’s regular newsletter, has now been published.

This month was Awards month for RFG and we were delighted to announce Solent Stevedores as the well-deserved winners of our coveted Business of the Year Award. The Awards evening itself was an amazing night and we were delighted to welcome many members and guests. Inside is a gallery of all our winners and images from the night. Our lead story in this issue is the new GBRf maintenance hub in Peterborough, which represents a £5.75m investment in rail freight’s future. Freightliner has announced a host of new services and Nestlé and Tesco have been working on an exciting new double-stack container trial.
