In this issue, we lead with the launch of our exciting Cross-Member Mentoring Programme for 2025. It is a fantastic scheme, and we’ve received great feedback from previous participants. We encourage all of our members to look at signing up. It’s free and can really help people learn the ins and outs of rail freight, enabling experts to pass on key experience and industry knowledge.

Inside, we note and welcome the launch of a raft of new rail freight services, all of which help customers shift goods from the congested road network and on to rail.

On page 8 we have an event report from our Autumn Meeting, where our new Board members were voted in. Everyone at RFG would like to welcome each of them to their roles and wish them the best of luck.
